ANCIENT ROUND STONE WELL

Ancient round stone well, certainly medieval, has a cylindrical shape and large dimensions; made from a single block of stone, very rustic but certainly functional for the time.

The stone was sculpted by hand and is very rare, as it is a seabed sediment made up of fossil shells.

To facilitate the lifting of the water, two wooden uprights were placed which support a rudimentary pulley.

Its era dates back to the early 19th century.
