Europhon It was founded in Milan in 1949 by Andrea Zenesini, starting his activities with the production of radio sets.
In the following years the company also acquired great importance in the radio market and extended its productions to other types of electronics (turntables and televisions).
Maintaining its predominant segment in this area, Europhon designed – and with less success – objects that went into the household appliance sector (razors, fans, electric brooms).
In the seventies, Europhon also continued to work on the qualitative evolution of stereo, without however arriving at further technical results.
