WELL IN RECLAIMED TERRACOTTA AND STONE

Splendid and unusual square-shaped well made of terracotta and reclaimed stone.

The edge that finishes the end of the well is made of very well-framed sandstone, the two lateral columns are made of round terracotta which are made up of two crossed half-moons and end with a beautiful capital in the upper part.

The two columns support a beautiful sandstone architrave where a hook was fixed to draw water from the well with a container. Decorating the stone of the architrave is a very elegant iron decoration, hand-nailed and finished with a forge.

The well dates back to around 1600, of Tuscan origin.

A farm that is certainly important given its size.
