QUADRONE LUCCHESE, or ancient terracotta floor from Lucca

This type of antique terracotta flooring, unlike most others, is unique to Lucca and the Lucchesia area in general. It's a rectangular shape made of antique terracotta, with the long side not double the length of the short side, but shorter, and therefore not suitable for herringbone laying. Typical sizes are 35x25, 38x27, and 36x26.

Beautiful and truly impressive, this type of antique terracotta is particularly sought-after because it is only available in a small area.
