Europhon was founded in Milan in 1949 by Andrea Zenesini, starting its activities with the production of radios.
In the following years the company also acquired great importance in the radio market and extended its production to other types of electronics (record players and televisions).
Maintaining its predominant segment in this area, Europhon designed, with less success, objects that ventured into the household appliance sector (razors, fans, electric brooms).
In the seventies, Europhon continued to work on the qualitative evolution of stereophony. , without however arriving at further technical results.
