Antique Bardiglio marble fireplace

Antique Louis XV Bardiglio Marble Fireplace – With Masks and Inlays (Tuscan Noble Palace)

Extraordinary and extremely rare antique Bardiglio marble fireplace dating back to the Louis XV period (18th Century). This masterpiece of stonework comes from the restoration of a prestigious Tuscan noble palace and is preserved in completely original condition.

The fireplace is distinguished by the extraordinary quality of its decorations: the beautiful relief-sculpted masks stand out, positioned both on the central shell of the frieze and on the upper part of the jambs (the legs). The refined inlays and the characteristic grey-blue colouring with dark veining of the prized Bardiglio marble give this work a unique plasticity and elegance, typical of the French Rococo style interpreted by high-end 18th-century Tuscan craftsmanship.
