Round ancient stone well
ROUND ANCIENT STONE WELL
Round ancient stone well, certainly medieval, it has a cylindrical shape and large dimensions; made in a single block of stone, very rustic but certainly for the functional era.
The stone was carved by hand and is very rare, as a conformation being a bottom sediment formed by fossil shells.
Two wooden posts supporting a rudimentary pulley were placed to facilitate the lifting of the water.
